施巍松,IEEE Fellow,ACM Distinguished Scientist, 美国韦恩州立大学计算机科学系 Charles H. Gershenson 杰出教授,移动与互联网系统结构实验室主任,校级物理信息系统 (CPS),数据科学和智能健康计划项目主任。全国百篇优秀博士论文获得者, 美国国家科学基金会杰出青年教授奖获得者(NSF CAREER Award), 2013 到 2015 年间担任美国国家科学基金会(NSF)项目主任, 2012-2016 年间担任 IEEE 计算机协会 Internet 专业技术委员会主席。施巍松 1995 年 7 月本科毕业于西安电子科技大学计算机系,2000 年 1 月在中科院计算所获得博士学位。施巍松教授的研究兴趣包括计算机系统, 边缘计算和可持续计算,在分布式共享存储系统,移动互联网计算和高效能系统结构等领域取得多项重要研究成果。他是边缘计算这一研究领域的早期提出者之一和倡导者, 并长期致力于边缘计算在工业界的推广,是 ACM/IEEE 国际边缘计算大会(SEC)的创始人。目前担任中国自动化学会边缘计算专业委员会副主任委员,中国边缘计算联盟专家委员会委员。他独立主持和作为课题负责人的项目经费超过八百万美元,已经毕业 14 名博士和 13 名硕士,正在培养 8 名博士生,并在相关领域的高级期刊和会议上发表了 170 多篇论文,其中 SCI 论文 80 多篇, 论文被他引 5000 次以上,H-Index 值为 38。 他编写的《Foundations of Computer Systems Research》一书 2010 年由高等教育出版社出版,全球发行。由他主编的《边缘计算》一书即将由科学出版社出版(2018 年初),是世界第一本关于边缘计算的教科书。施巍松教授领导的科研团队研究开发的软件被学术界和工业界广泛使用,包括 Intel,阿里巴巴等等。 其中基于 MapReduce 的基因序列对准软件 CloudAligner 已经被来自十几个国家的研究教育机构下载 1500 次以上,进程级功耗分析工具 pTop 在过去五年里被 30 多个国家的科研人员下载700 多次, 软件功耗分析工具 SPAN/Safari 也被下载 500 多次。 他在博士期间的工作JIAJIA 软件分布式共享存储系统也被世界 20 多个国家 120 多个大学和研究机构使用。
施巍松教授是 Elsevier Smart Health 期刊的首任主编, IEEE Internet Computing Magazine 的副主编,以及 IEEE Transactions on Services Computing, Elsevier Sustainable Computing, 英文计算机学报(JCST) 的编委。施巍松教授是 IEEE/ACM CHASE (Connected Health) 大会的创始人以及多个国际学术会议的组织者。 他还担任过多个科学基金会的特邀评审专家, 如美国国家科学基金委,中国科学院,中国国家自然基金委,香港研究资助局,卡特尔国家研究基金委等。2017 年 IEEE 计算机协会的 Fellow 评审委员会委员 。 施巍松教授获得过韦恩州立大学 2009 年度“Career Development Chair”奖,韦恩州立大学 2015 Charles H.Gershenson 杰出教授奖, 2016 年工程学院优秀研究奖,2004 年度 IFIP Web 工程会议(ICWE)的最佳论文奖,2005 年 IEEE 国际并行和分布处理会议(IPDPS) 的最佳论文奖,2012 年全国高性能计算年会优秀论文(HPCChina)奖, 2012 年 IEEE 国际负载分析会议(IISWC)最佳论文奖,2014 年 ACM 普识计算会议 (UbiComp) 最佳论文提名奖,2015 年HealthCom 的最佳学生论文奖, 2017 年度 IEEE eHealth 技术委员会最佳论文奖等。 施巍松教授一直和中国的企业界保持密切合作关系, 包括阿里巴巴, 百度, 网易,等等。 目前是中科院计算所客座研究员,博导(计算机体系结构),西安电子科技大学兼职教授,博导(通信和信息系统 )。
